The Equal Opportunity Office assists the university in its mission to “provide a stimulating setting where the full realization of human potential is pursued.” In doing so, we work to ensure that all faculty, staff, and students enjoy a work and learning environment that is comfortable, productive, and safe.

The role of the Equal Opportunity Office is to address complaints of unlawful discrimination within the campus community and to provide training on discrimination issues. Our office also assists employees who request leave under the Family and Medical Leave Act and employees with disabilities who request accommodation in fulfilling their essential job functions.
