Join us for a 2K route (just under 1.4 miles) through BYU’s beautiful campus. This is a chance to enjoy the outdoors, stay active, and connect with fellow employees and their families. Along the way, participants will have the opportunity to visit a variety of booths hosted by campus departments, each offering resources, wellness activities, and helpful information.
This year's walk will feature the theme "Taking Steps to Seek and Share His Light"—focusing on helping BYU employees discover resources and opportunities that strengthen every aspect of their well-being. By participating, employees will gain practical tools and inspiration to care for themselves, better serve those around them, and share the Savior's light throughout the BYU community.
The walk will begin immediately following the University Conference general session at the south tunnel entrance to the Marriott Center. Route maps and other materials will be available at the starting location. Those wishing to take their time on the walk are encouraged to begin early to allow time for visiting booths and participating in activities while still attending other conference sessions.
Participants are encouraged to come prepared for warm weather. While parts of the walk will be shaded, it’s recommended to bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, comfortable walking shoes, and a refillable water bottle for hydration stations along the way.
This event is designed to promote personal wellness, campus connection, and resource awareness in a casual, welcoming environment. It’s a valuable opportunity to step away from daily routines, gather new tools for personal well-being, and reconnect with the mission and community of BYU.
