Thirsty Thursday Water Challenge

Purpose:  To help people become more mindful about drinking water.

Duration:  Every Thursday for one month

Details:  Every Thursday morning send out a fun reminder with fun facts about the importance of drinking water ~ also remind them about the Thirsty Thursday competition.  Then have a score card by the water tank (kitchen or drinking fountain) where people go to get water.  Each person who wants to participate writes their name on the tracker and marks a box for each 8 oz they drink.  There are 8 boxes for each person and the goal is to get all the boxes filled before the end of the work day.  There can be a small recognition or reward for successful finishers.

Outcomes:  Opportunity for employees to feel the benefit of drinking water throughout the day.
