Spring Wellness Challenge
For active faculty, admin, and staff
About
Calling all active faculty, admin, and staff! Kick off your Spring/Summer semester and prioritize your wellness with our Summer Wellness Bingo Challenge! Each completed activity counts as one submission to the raffle. Get one more entry by submitting a picture of yourself completing one of the activities, which we will share on our website. Raffle prizes include: two $50 cash prizes (either in a prepaid Visa gift card or Cougar Cash), Jamba Juice vouchers, CamelBack water bottles, and 50% Off coupons to Outdoors Unlimited!
*If you have a qualifying medical insurance plan, you may choose to use this challenge for the Living Healthy Program Challenge #3 this year!
Rules
- Obtain a bingo card. You can print one out here or with the button below.
- Complete activities between May 1st and June 30th. (Activities completed outside of this time frame will not be counted.) Each completed activity will count as one entry to the raffle. Employees can earn an extra entry to the raffle by submitting a picture of themselves completing one of the activities.
- Challenge cards must be submitted online between June 30th and July 3rd with the button at the bottom of this page.
- Winners will be announced in the newsletter following the submission deadline.
- Only active faculty admin and staff can enter into the drawing, but spouses are encouraged to participate in the activities to support the employee in finishing their Wellness Challenge.

YFitness Classes
From high-energy workouts to calming yoga flows, we’ve got something for everyone. Let’s boost your wellness—one session at a time. Employees can join for FREE! Just fill out the waiver, swing by RB 112 for your wristband, and you’re in!
Student Wellness Facilities
Student Wellness provides many places on campus to get up, get moving, and have fun. Current BYU affiliates (BYU students, faculty/staff, retirees, and their dependents) can obtain the necessary wristbands for facilities. Visit their website to see more information.
Museum of Peoples and Cultures
A small museum located next door to Outdoors Unlimited where you can learn about the human experience through the lens of various other cultures.
Bean Life Science Museum
Visit BYU's Life Science Museum right here on campus! It is open Monday - Saturday and is free admission. They also hold many great events that is perfect for family and friends. Check out their website to learn more.
Museum of Art
One of the largest and best-attended art museums in the Mountain West, the BYU Museum of Art offers a dynamic exhibition schedule that includes displays of its permanent collection, world-class traveling shows and thought-provoking exhibitions organized by museum curators. One of the museum’s most important roles is its contribution to the academic mission of Brigham Young University. From the research and study of the artworks in the permanent collection, to the teaching and learning that occurs in classrooms and galleries, the museum plays an important role in the academic pursuits of many students at BYU. The museum also seeks to connect to broad community audiences through exhibitions and educational programming.
Museum of Paleontology
Discover one of the largest dinosaur collections in the world and learn about Earth’s ancient life and environments. Admission is free and access is convenient. Check out their website for more information.

BYU Bowling & Games Center
The BYU Bowling and Games Center provides students, faculty and all visitors the opportunity to bowl and have a good time in a clean, fun environment. Whether you are looking for fun things to do in Provo, family night activities, Provo date ideas or a place to hold a birthday party, the BYU Bowling and Games Center is the right place for you! Also, active employees and students get a discount per game!
Mango Languages App
BYU employees can access the Mango Languages BYU Library for free! Just download the app or visit the website, create a profile with your BYU email address, join the BYU organization with your credentials, and get learning!
Harold B. Lee Library
Employees can check out books from the HBLL, and there are more than textbooks and academic resource journals in there!
Royden G. Derrick Planetarium
The BYU Planetarium often has shows available to the general public. There is currently one scheduled for May 2nd, and there may be others scheduled during the challenge period!
Provo City Recreation Center
BYU employees get a discount at the Provo Recreation Center, regardless of residential location! The Provo Recreation Center provides a state-of-the-art recreation experience for Provo residents with dozens of amenities for children, adults, seniors, and families. Spend a day at the indoor aquatic center, with slides, rock cliffs, water fall rock walls, lazy rivers, and more. Or come kick, lift, and dance your way to a workout at our fitness mezzanine while your kids play on the 4 basketball courts below. There is something for everyone to enjoy while at the Provo Recreation Center.

BYU employees can get a discount at the Orem Recreation Center! The Orem Recreation Center has awesome amenities like group fitness classes, personal training sessions, and drop-in sports in addition to their pool and workout areas.

Thanksgiving Point
Thanksgiving Point is a great place to go with family and friends. You can go to the Museum of Ancient History, Farm Country, Ashton Gardens, the Butterfly Biosphere, or the Golf Course! Thanksgiving Point is located in Lehi, about 30 minutes north of BYU. You can also volunteer at various events or in the Ashton Gardens as a gardener!
Loveland Living Planet Aquarium
The Living Planet Aquarium is a non-profit organization, dedicated to inspiring people to explore, discover and learn about Earth’s diverse ecosystems. They feature all kinds of water creatures, foul, and mammals. Look at their website to explore the many events they have going on.

The Provo Farmer's Market is a great place to find fresh produce and locally made treats and other goods. It is located in Pioneer Park, which has many trees and a fun splash pad for kids, on Saturdays between June 7 and October 25 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
