For all active and retired faculty, staff, administrators, students, and their families

About

Are you a drummer or trumpet player? Do you struggle catching conversations in noisy places or constantly asking people to repeat themselves? It might be time to get your hearing checked, and now you can do it for FREE! Don’t wait — your ears (and your loved ones) will thank you! BYU Employee Wellness is partnering with the Department of Communication Disorders to make this available to the BYU community.

This clinic is a fantastic opportunity for Communication Disorders students to practice their skills and for employees and students to understand how their hearing is doing. Students will be supervised by full-time faculty members.

The clinic will be held in Taylor Building Room 125. Please enter through the South entrance.

Don't know where the Taylor Building is?

  • The Taylor Building is where the Comprehensive Clinic is.
  • The Taylor Building is kitty-corner to the Creamery on 9th and across 900 E from the Music Building!

Registration

If there are no more spots available, please join the waitlist! You may also try to walk into the clinic, but walk-ins will be seen as time permits.

Directions and Parking

The hearing screenings will take place in the John Taylor Building (also known as the BYU Comprehensive Clinic). It’s located kitty-corner from the BYU creamery on 9th east and directly across the street from the Music Building. To prevent disturbing the flow of clinic patients, please enter through the southwest entrance. Signage will direct you to and mark this entrance. Upon entering the building, you will check-in at the room located directly to the right. There is a parking lot next to the Taylor Building can be used by individuals with A-lot and G-lot privileges. Visitors to campus can park in the visitor lot east of the Wilkinson Center.
