The Employee Wellness office is excited to announce the start of employee hobby groups, supported by the Employee Wellness office.

Groups of employees across campus can get together to enjoy participating in some of their favorite hobbies together. From active activities like pickleball and hiking, to activities like trying new foods or crafting, there is something for everyone!

Browse through the available hobby groups below and select any that you would like to participate in. We encourage you to try more than one!

Participation Agreement

All participants are required to sign the Hobby Group Participation Agreement to participate in any of the Hobby Group meetings or activities. Don't forget to confirm the signature in the email in your inbox!

Skateboarding GroupThis relaxed hobby group is a way for BYU faculty and staff to get outside, have fun, and build community on a skateboard. Skateboarding boosts mood through endorphins and dopamine, improves focus and coordination, and can help reduce stress and anxiety. All are welcome—whether you’re brand new, returning after a long hiatus, or a seasoned skateboarder.
