About
The Employee Wellness office is excited to announce the start of employee hobby groups, supported by the Employee Wellness office.
Groups of employees across campus can get together to enjoy participating in some of their favorite hobbies together. From active activities like pickleball and hiking, to activities like trying new foods or crafting, there is something for everyone!
Participation Agreement
All participants are required to sign the Hobby Group Participation Agreement to participate in any of the Hobby Group meetings or activities. Don't forget to confirm the signature in the email in your inbox!

| Asian Drama | for anyone interested in watching Asian dramas (K-drama, C-drama, J-drama, etc.), having fun themed discussions, and enjoying occasional cultural snacks days! | Bethany Budge |
| Card & Board Games | learn new games in this group and get recommendations, find groups to play with | Nick Totten |
| Career Development & Networking | participate in activities and group meetings to further your skills as a networker and as a member of the BYU community | Victoria Garrow |
| Fiber Arts | for anyone who does or wants to do knitting, crocheting, needlework, or any other art that works with textiles or fibers - ask for and recommend designs, share your personal projects, and find others to work with | Rachel Wadham |
| Geocaching | learn about geocaching, share with others, and get out and go find opportunities on campus to go walking with a fun purpose | Brian Anderson |
| Golf | find comradery, physical fitness and improve skills, and go on regular outings to ranges or courses | Dennis Crawford |

| Skateboarding Group | This relaxed hobby group is a way for BYU faculty and staff to get outside, have fun, and build community on a skateboard. Skateboarding boosts mood through endorphins and dopamine, improves focus and coordination, and can help reduce stress and anxiety. All are welcome—whether you’re brand new, returning after a long hiatus, or a seasoned skateboarder. Come roll with us, connect with colleagues, and enjoy the thrill of an activity that keeps us feeling sharp and young. | Daniel George |
