Dental

There are two dental plans to choose from. Both are provided by Deseret Mutual.

Deseret Dental covers 50% of services, up to a maximum of $1,500 per person per year. The plan has a $50 per person or $150 per family deductible. Preventative dental visits are covered at 100%. Orthodontics are covered at 50% up to $1,500 per person per lifetime.

Deseret Dental PLUS covers 80% of services, up to a maximum of $2,000 per person per year. The plan has a $50 per person or $150 per family deductible. Preventative dental visits are covered 100%. Orthodontics are covered at 50% up to $2,000 per person per lifetime.

You can change dental plans only during the open enrollment period in October each year. The choices you make during open enrollment apply to the next calendar year, beginning January 1. If you don’t make any changes, you will remain enrolled in your current plan.
