Staff and Administrative Employee Recognition Award

The President's Council has adopted a set of values for all BYU staff and administrative employees. The Staff and Administrative Employee Recognition Awards recognize the demonstration of these values.

Throughout the year employees (including part time Category I and II) can be nominated by co-workers, supervisors, or faculty members in their own or other departments.

New University Personnel Orientation

All new faculty, administrative staff, and staff employees are invited to attend this orientation designed to educate new full-time employees regarding their benefits. A discussion regarding the medical/dental plans, life insurance, tuition benefits and retirement plans will last for approximately 3 hours. In addition to the benefits presentation, new employees will have the opportunity to hear from various campus entities who will share important items of interest.

This orientation meeting is usually held every other Monday from 9:00a.m. to 12:30p.m. in room 2001 of the Jesse Knight Building. Because space is limited, interested personnel should contact 422-4716 to make a reservation.
